Dr. Damian Berezovsky is a board-certified neurologist and fellowship-trained neuro-ophthalmologist. He brings extensive experience in diagnosing and treating complex neurological and neuro-ophthalmologic conditions, with a strong background in clinical care, research, and academic medicine.
Dr. Berezovsky earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Emory University and his medical degree from Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine. He completed his internship in Internal Medicine at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, followed by Neurology residency training at the University of New Mexico, where he served as Chief Resident. He then completed a Neuro-Ophthalmology fellowship at Emory University School of Medicine.
Before joining The Neuron Clinic, Dr. Berezovsky served as Assistant Professor of Neurology at Barrow Neurological Institute, as well as neuro-ophthalmologist at HonorHealth Neurology in Scottsdale, Arizona. His clinical interests include neuro-ophthalmology, visual dysfunction related to neurological diseases, optic nerve disorders, idiopathic intracranial hypertension, and other visual disorders related to the eyes, optic nerves and brain.
Dr. Berezovsky has contributed to peer-reviewed publications and book chapters; he has also presented at national neurology and neuro-ophthalmology conferences. He is fluent in English and Spanish. Outside of medicine, he enjoys listening to audiobooks, brewing espresso and spending time with his wife and two young children.
